AR 101 Drawing added to Summer 2012 Schedule
In response to student requests, an additional art class has been added to the Summer 2012 course schedule.
Drawing, to be taught by Debbie Mues, will meet on Mondays from 10 am to 4 pm, starting June 18 and running through July 31, with a special session on Wednesday, July 25. The class will take advantage of our beautiful UP summer scenery by including plenty of outdoor drawing and sketching. Instructor and students will also take their sketchbooks on the road to a variety of locations for drawing from nature. The course has no prerequisite. New students, advanced secondary students and enrichment students are welcome.
Act fast to enroll - the registration deadline is May 11.
Eagle Books "Flying with the Eagle" video posted
A video using footage recorded at the 2008 Eagle Books Family Fun Fest, along with scenes from other communities and the National Museum of the American Indian, has been posted on the CDC website at http://www.cdc.gov/diabetes/pubs/eagle/eagle_videos.html with the title Flying with the Eagle.
